So today, while I was reading Piranesi's goodreads page (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/50202953), I found out that many people had been given copies of the book beforehand. Moreover, all the reviews gave such praises for the book that I am now getting more hyped for the book.

Huh! And lots of them saying it's very different to Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, and that the narrator is one of the best parts of it—all sounds very intriguing.

I am jealous of them, too. But hopefully, the wait will make the reward all the sweeter, I guess.

It has been more than a decade since JSMN so I am really looking forward to see how Clarke has changed as a writer. Why can't the publisher release a prologue, a preview or anything so I don't have to wait like this?
