I just finished reading Pratchett's Carpe Jugulum yesterday. Carpe Jugulum is the 25th Pratchett's book I have read. Besides a few books, I read most of Pratchett's books in order of publication. So far, my favourite book has been Reaper Man. I read it 12 books ago but it still firmly remains my favourite.

My first Discworld's novel, The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents, took me 4 days to read and I finished reading it on October 10, 2018. So it has taken me one year and four months to read 25 Pratchett's books.

I am still unsure what I think about Pratchett. His books are certainly very entertaining and easy to read. I adore Reaper Man. However, throughout 25 books, Pratchett touched on the same themes to a varying degree of success and reading so many of his books in such a short time made them seem repetitive. He also sometimes made jokes that were more annoying than entertaining. I probably need to take a break from Pratchett for some time. I am also thinking about reading books that were considered to be good by fans instead of just reading everything from Pratchett because I really dislike Interesting Times.
