So for my two-week winter break, I managed to read Howl's Moving Castle, A Tale of Two Cities and Great Expectations and finished reading the last 50 or so pages of Pratchett's Jingo.

Both A Tale of Two Cities and Great Expectations are well-plotted but between the two, I think I prefer Great Expectations. I like its intimate first-person point of view and its main characters, who were very colourful and interesting. And its characters are more appealing to me than A Tale of Two Cities' more conventional ones.

I didn't have enough time to read Oliver Twist or Hard Times because I had to return the book to the library today. However, when I got to the library, I decided to borrow "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare". The book is more than 1000-page long so I doubt I am going to finish reading it in two weeks but I think I am going to read the more popular plays in the book.
